Happy New Year!

To celebrate the coming of 2025, I sat down and wrote this holiday adventure for the R'lyehwatch RPG. It's totally un-playtested but should be good for a night of drunken revelry. I mean, next year, though? Because you're cutting it pretty close if you run it tonight. I'm not going to stop you. :D

MISSION BRIEF

It’s New Year’s Eve and the Caveman Cthulhu Cult’s evil scheme is set to hatch at the stroke of midnight!

BACKGROUND

While most respectable Cthulhu cultists are off for the holidays, the oft-ridiculed Caveman Cthulhu Cult has nothing better to do. They secretly replaced the Hilldale Mall Time Ball with a primeval egg containing a geologic terror known as the Giant Caw. To buy themselves time, they’ve sabotaged local New Year Eve events.

Can the Sunset Hills lifeguards stop them before it's too late?!
